Benriach Whiskey 10 years Smoky Ten Smoky 10 is produced with heavily smoked malt, which is unusual for a Speyside whiskey even though it was originally made that way. This makes it quite interesting and complex as the smoke marries with the traditional fruitiness of the distillery.
Recommended with a few drops of water. Alcohol: 46% – Aging: 10 years – No Chill Filtering – 55 PPM Maturation Barrels: ex Bourbon, virgin Oak, Jamaican Rum Casks.
Nose: Burst of smoke, rounded with aromas of honey and oak.
Mouth: Peat avalanche mixed with spices and nuts and light tropical fruits.
Aftertaste: Long smoky and sweet aftertaste.
